Title:Growth in utero and during childhood among women who develop coronary heart disease

Abstract:3447 women born in Helsinki University Central Hospital in 1924-33 and who went to school in Helsinki were followed up. Their body size at birth had been recorded and they had an average of 10 measurements of height and weight during chilhood. The risk for these women to develop a coronary heart disease increased by 10.2% for each cm decrease in length at birth
