Title:Infant breastfeeding and the risk of childhood lymphoma and leukaemia

Abstract:A reduction in the risk of lymphoma was observed among children breastfed as infants versus those who were not. (Odd ratio = 0.69). The reduction was greater for children breastfed for longer than six months. Protection pertained primarily to Hodgkin's disease and to cases diagnosed before the age of 6 years.
